An effective building performance evaluation industry requires some standardisation of methodologies, techniques and equipment. We are therefore excited to say that the BPN has now received funding to support the development of a British Standard for Building Performance Evaluation. The BPN will develop and manage the necessary contracts to deliver the BPE British Standard together with its launch and promotion. The project will be managed by George Martin and Dr Kerry Mashford will chair the drafting panel.
We will shortly be advertising for a technical author and recruiting a drafting panel. Details will be available on our website shortly. Please respond if you or a colleague might be interested in either opportunity.
