AECB

The AECB (Association for Environment Conscious Building) is a network of individuals and companies with a common aim of promoting sustainable building.

We bring together contractors, trades people, self-builders, architects, designers, engineers, manufacturers, housing associations, local authorities and academics to develop, share and promote green building best practice. The AECB engages their members through regular themed webinars, regional groups, online publications and events. We also run an online training course called CLR – CarbonLite retrofit course. The AECB CarbonLite retrofit training Course is an online course, aimed at construction professionals and those whose role involves decision making around retrofit.  The course brings together a wealth of knowledge on low energy building retrofit and methodology. We are also the owners of the Low Energy building database which is home to a vast amount of case studies and technical data collected from live projects. We hope to achieve from being a member of the building Performance Network, further collaboration, helping to drive the sustainable building agenda forwards.
